Love God. Grow Together. Serve Others.

Trailer for upcoming movie at Willow Bend.
                                 See details below.

         Sunday Mornings at 10:00 A.M.

Welcome to the Willow Bend site.

If you are considering a visit, here are a couple of things you will notice.

There will be some friendly people inside to make you feel at home.

You will get the feeling you are in a church that knows the importance of being the family of God.  You will see people hanging out before and after the service.

You will hear the truth right from God's Word when you are seated in the sanctuary.

Our foundation Scriptures is Jeremiah 29:11.  We firmly believe that God has a plan for you and that plan can only be found by obtaining and maintaining a relationship with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ.

Check us out this Sunday.  You are welcome here.

 This Sunday's Message

Mighty in Battle

May 13, 2012, Join us for the message series:

"Mighty in Battle, Part 1"

Are you afraid to say that everything is going well because you may "jinx" it?

Do you say things like "so far, so good" expecting that good times are only fleeting moments?

Do you believe that your words can cause good or bad to come into your life?

Are their behaviors in your life that you know will only bring trouble and pain, yet you feel powerless to stop?

Do you live in constant fear that God is or is going to punish you?

Do you wake up at night or in the morning with a sense of dread?

What are strongholds?  Do you have any in your life?

Do you believe there is a real being called Satan who tries to influence you to do sinful things?  If you do, you are now in the minority in this country.

According to a recent George Barna survey, 60% of Americans do not believe there is a real, live devil.  Many of these people think he (or it) is just a symbol for evil, but not a real being.  Be assured that he is real and that he is the enemy of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and His church.

We are in a battle that we can (and will) win.  Find out what the battle is, how we are engaged and how to emerge victorious according to God's own battle plan, a plan that cannot fail. Come on out.  See you Sunday.  We will be expecting you.

Family Movie Night

"The Imposter"

Who will believe The Imposter?

Christian rock's hottest band, Grand_design is heading to the top. Unfortunately, lead singer Johnny C (Kevin Maxof dcTalk) is heading straight down. His wife and band mates (including Jeff Deyo, former lead singer of SONICFLOOd) find out that after singing about Jesus at concerts, he's living for himself off the stage.

Losing his family and fame sends him on a downward spiral. Stripped of all the accessories of stardom, Johnny C begins a journey back home to find out if his shattered marriage can be put back together. He's coached by his mentor Proff (played by Kerry Livgren of the band Kansas) and a crazy homeless man (Tom Wright of World Trade Center, Barbershop), but will it be enough and in time to turn his life around?
