The Willow Clothing Closet provides gently used clothing and household items to church members, local families, and others in need.

Donations may include:

• Adult and children’s clothing

• Shoes

• Books and games

• Blankets

• Towels and sheets

• Washcloths and other basic household items

Every donation helps meet a practical need and reminds someone that they are seen, valued, and cared for. We are grateful for the church members and friends who continue to support this ministry through donations and word-of-mouth within the community.

Our Community Food Bank provides non-perishable food items to individuals and families who could use extra support.

Through donated food items, we are able to prepare grocery bags filled with practical pantry staples. Each food bag also includes information about Willow Bend Community Church and our ministries, offering not only physical support but also an invitation to connection, prayer, and community.

Church members and friends are invited to donate non-perishable food items throughout the year. A list of most-needed items will be made available for those who would like to participate.

Willow Bend Community Church also supports the Coalition for the Homeless of Pasco County by collecting and delivering clothing, shoes, and non-perishable food items.

This includes donations for women, men, and children who are experiencing homelessness or hardship. These simple gifts can provide comfort, dignity, and hope to those facing very difficult circumstances.

Each year, our Elves on a Mission outreach brings love and encouragement to seniors at Bear Creek Nursing Facility.

This ministry collects needed items for residents and creates an opportunity to bless seniors who may be lonely, overlooked, or in need of extra care during the holiday season.

A list of requested items will be shared each year as the outreach begins. For those who prefer not to shop, monetary donations may be given by check made payable to Willow Bend Community Church with “Elves on a Mission” noted in the memo line. Cash donations may also be given directly to the Benevolent Ministries Director, and a receipt can be provided for items purchased.

Volunteers are also welcome to join us when we visit the residents. This is a beautiful opportunity to share time, kindness, and the love of Christ with seniors in our community.

There are several meaningful ways to participate in Benevolent Ministries:

• Donate gently used clothing, shoes, linens, books, games, or household items

• Donate non-perishable food items

• Give financially toward seasonal outreach efforts

• Volunteer to help organize, deliver, or distribute items

• Share the ministry with someone who may need assistance

• Pray for the people and families served through this ministry

No gift is too small when it is given with love. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of our neighbors.
